Question: My left hand is throbbong in the heel of the palm. My hand and wrist have been "catching," stabbibg pain, and now it just is throbbing nonstop.

It seems you are having carpal tunnel syndrome.Patients experience pain and paraesthesiae in the hand and wrist. The important causes include hypothyroidism and osteoarthritis.rarely. Go for thyroid function test(serumT3,T4 & TSH).
NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) help to relieve pain.

I have been giving my left wrist a workout opening screw top bottle, etc. And as of yesterday I am in a "backpack" back brace. I have fractures in my vertebrae. I did have carpal tunnel surgeries in both wrists 20 yrs ago, so I wonder if orthopaedically I have run out of "running room?"
