My Impression-
Afib(Atrial Fibrillation) with leg swelling with Below Knee ?DVT/ ?Arterial Thromboembolism with leaking Leg Sore

Hi Dear,thanks for the updates on the purple swollen below knee area with sore 3 inches above ankle.

Based on the facts of your query and updates,
-Cause of the leg swelling is mostly due to afib(Atrial Fibrillation) heart ailment.
-But the purple color of the below knee portion till ankle needs to be attended immediately,as it seems that it has developed lately and is mostly accompanying the sore on the leg.
As sore on the leg has regressed with your wound care with hydrogen peroxide,I would still suggest to consult ER Vascular Surgeon and get the Color Doppler done to rule out the possiblity of DVT(Deep Vein Thrombosis) which is common at this advanced age / or could be due to the Arterial blockages due to thrombo-embolism accompanied with Afib,though your are on Warfarrin for last 1 year.
