Suggest Remedy For Severe Leg Pain And Constipation During Ovulation

default
Posted on Mon, 21 Dec 2015
Question: I have, since young, bowel adhesions which is caused the uterus to be tilted backwards. at times of ovulation when ovaries are in just that position and swollen, it causes severe constipation caused by partial to full blockage and this rectifies itself at the time that periods begin for the next couple of weeks. In past recent history I have suddenly began having severe leg pain in upper right leg that makes me think it is nerve related. question: could the uterus and constipation combo or either alone be causing nerves to be compressed (if that is the correct word to use) which is causing the leg pain? could it be causing blood flow to be cut down or lost all together? would this over time if not fixed or prevented cause permanent damage? Am I in any way correct in this questioning or is it something that would in no way be possible? if physical therapy was decided upon, would activity needing extra blood flow, etc cause more damage than it would help if there was extra exercise instead of trying not to have usage at all? what type of specialist would be the correct choice for looking into such a matter as this? what other causes could there be for this to have happened so suddenly and without physical injury as the cause?

Brief Answer:
Physical therapy will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The uterus or ovarian pathology or constipation cannot cause a nerve compression so as to cause the leg pain. The nerve compression is caused by disc dehydration or disc herniation between two vertebrae.
Any permanent damage to the nerves or intestines is not likely even if the definitive treatment is delayed.

Physical therapy is the best way to treat this. Having no activity will further aggravate the problem.

The most likely cause is a muscle spasm or inadequate rest. You can consult an orthopedician for this.
