Brief Answer:
Start with ketoconazole shampoo, cause of hair fall are listed below

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
As far as dandruff is concerned I suggest my patients to use a ketoconazole containing shampoo. Use it every alternate day in the beginning and once you notice improvement in your dandruff reduce the frequency of application to twice weekly and then once weekly. But you need to continue this for a long time as dandruff is a chronic disease and needs to be kept under control.
You can also consider using lotion containing clotrimazole and beclomethasone on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily along with tablet ketoconazole 200 mg once daily. Continue this for 2 weeks and revert back.
These are prescription medicines and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
There are many causes of hair loss and treatment depends on the cause.
The most commonly causes encountered by me are male pattern baldness, thyroid disorders, anemia, certain drugs, fevers like typhoid and malaria, chronic diseases, surgery and after delivery.
I recommend you to undergo haemoglobin, serum ferritin levels and TSH test to rule out the anemia and thyroid disease.
You can get back to me once the results come so that we can manage it accordingly.
I would also recommend you to upload a photograph of your scalp so that I can see the pattern of your hair loss.
I hope to have answered your query.
I would be happy to clarify any further doubts.

Dr Asmeet
