Brief Answer:
It is long enough and needs intervention by an Otorhinolaryngologist.

Detailed Answer:
Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

Fluid in ear may be due to many medical reasons. Sometimes when you take a shower and water flows in accidentally, and IF the eardrum (Tympanic Membrane) is damaged already due to any reason, this water will pass the external auditory meatus straight down to the middle and inner ear via the internal auditory meatus. And patient feels that water in ear.

Clogged ear due to wax which has got liquified may also pose the same medical illness and cause the patient to feel like water in ear.

Any inflammation of the middle or inner ear may lead to exudation of the inflammatory fluid inside the ear cavity and causes the same feeling.

It may also be due to Sensorineural hearing problems and sometimes may also be due to .problems with Vestibulocochlear nerve of the ear or due to Cerebellopontine angle (an inner structure of ear) disease.

The medical personnel, trained for treating such a disease is an Otorhinolaryngologist and you need to consult him so as to get proper evaluation and treatment according to the cause of the disease.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.

Regards!
