Hello XXXXXXX
Welcome to Health Care Magic,

I have read your query and understand the concern.

1) If your child is not having any coughing with mucus/sputum or breathing difficulty then there is no need of asthalin puff at present.

Cold with runny nose is not the indication of giving bronchodilators puff like asthalin.

Or if he develops cough with mucus later on then you can give that puff minimum two times till the mucus stops because the effect of asthalin lasts for only 4 to 5 hours and it may need to use again for symptommatic relief.

2) Wheezing is itself a sign/symptom.

But to find out it,you can hear musical or whistling sound during breathing especially when your child exhales.

3) Ambrolite cold is also a mucolytic and bronchodilators which is useful to dilute and loosen thick mucus with bronchodilator property which allows easy passage of mucus out from the respiratory tract.

It should be given only when there is coughing with mucus or especially when it becomes difficult for child to cough out mucus.

Finally,in your child if there is no cough or wheezing and only cold with runny nose is there then you just continue with sinarest syrup.

Hope this detailed information will be helpful.Feel free to ask if you have more doubts.
