Brief Answer:
Dehydration

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Excessive consumption of alcohol causes several changes in your body. The reason why you are having a rapid heart is might be because of dehydration. Alcohol acts like a diuretic and causes dehydration, dehydration is known to increase the heart rate.

The second possibility is that you are having a hangover. Hangover is known to cause rapid heart beat.

Here is what you should do

1. Drink plenty of water. I recommend you to squeeze lime in to a litre of water, add a tablespoonful of sugar and a pinch of water. Drink it sip by sip, this will rehydrate you
2. Avoid such excessive consumption of alcohol in the future
3. If your heart beat remains high then please approach your GP for blood tests. I would like you to get complete blood count, renal function test and thyroid profile done.

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
