Question: Dear Doctor,

I'm writing for my daughter, XXXXXXX XXXXXXX 16 years. She has a small smooth round lump (size of a grape) on her right breast, which was noticed yesterday. The lump is not painful but moves when touched. She has irregular periods.We are worried about this can I have your valuable advise on this.

The characteristic finding of grape sized lump which is painless and moves freely in a girl of 16 is always due to a condition called fibroadenoma.

Only chances are that it may grow very large.
Hence it is always better to get removed for the following reasons:
She gets rid of a lump which is not a normal part of the body.
