Question: Hello. At first, I experienced terrible pains directly underneath my sternum. So I assumed it was my heart. Now, I am experiencing pain in my lower intestinal areas. It seems to only do it as there is food being processed. This always seems to take place a couple hours prior to my body needing to have a movement. After the movement, my body to begins feeling normal again.....until the next time its processing a meal. I don't what to do about it.

Simple tips can help you.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

Substernal pain can be due to heart, but it can also be due to GI and stomach upset. if there was no evidence of heart disease previously then this might well be your GIT.

Now your are having pain in lower intestines when they are full of stools this might be due to irritation of bowels.
I would suggest you a few things.

1) Drink loads of fluids.
2) Avoid coffee caffeine tea...alcohol and smoking (what ever is relevant)
3) Use high fibre diet , you can use fibre suplements as an aid as well.
4) Your stools should say soft in consistensy so use more vegetables.
5) Use syrup cremafen 1 table spoon thrice a day.

Try these tips for 4..5 days hopefully you will feel better, if you don't then it's suggested to visit your gastroentrologist for possible workup and testing.

I hope this answered your question, a
if you have more please feel free to ask.

Regrads.
