Brief Answer:
No, not necessarily an angina pain. I don't think so!

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back and thanks for consulting me at HCM. Your trust in HCM means a lot to me as a Physician.

I have completely reviewed your health query, and can well realize all those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will give extend my expertise to solve the problems.

No it is not typical of angina pectoris. Angina pain is consistent and usually chest and abdomen is also involved. Diabetics may have a different pattern but non diabetics usually don't. Intensity of pain may vary but the pain jumping around is not typical of angina.

If I keep whole of your health scenario in mind,, you have a pretty normal (anatomically and physiologically) heart and vascular system. You are young female and all these factors combine together to give picture of least probability of cardiac disease risks. I don't see any major risk factors for you to get angina at this age. Yes genetics may play a role sometimes but not so common.

I assure you to remain calm and do your normal daily life activities in routine, without worrying about your heart. I am determined as you have gone for almost all possible investigations for knowing the well-being of heart. And we know that all is normal and as expected for this age and gender.

Then why this pain and feeling of angina comes to your mind??

It is all due to over-apprehension and preoccupied mind. When we think much of a single thing and search a lot about it on internet, it seems to be happening to us. I give you a simple example. Two days back a patient came to my office and needed help for her fear of air travel. She stated 'My plane will definitely crash if I travel'. On taking history it came to my notice that on this planet she has not left unseen even a single video of airplane crashes available on internet.

So our body starts feeling what we do on daily basis. I suggest you to forget about your beautifully working heart and indulge yourself in daily activities much than before. I suggest you to remain physically active, take a healthy diet and plenty of water, keep a balance in sleep wake cycle.

If you ever feel that nothing is working anymore for you, please go for a Psychiatric consultation by managing for an in-office appointment with a Psychiatrist. It doesn't mean that you have some big psychiatric issue, but it will help you come out of this fear of heart attacks.

Hope I answered all of your queries. Let me know if you have further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you with my expert opinion. Please don't forget to 'Close This Discussion'.

For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is very necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change the treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).
