Brief Answer:
Wait and watch and may take drugs as following

Detailed Answer:
. Hello
Thanks for posting
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. To understand better please tell me the symptoms he had prior to surgery in his right arm?
These symptoms may be a temporary phenomenon after such surgery. Does he have any weakness of grip in his left arm?

Since he had surgery just 3 week back my advice would be to wait and watch and may have pain killer medicine like Ibuprofen, muscle relaxant drugs like Thiocolchicoside along with drug pregablin.
Except the Ibuprofen other drugs are prescription only medicine so you may talk to your local doctor.

Hope this helps and I shall be glad to answer any further query

Brief Answer:
May visit the Treating doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hi
It's good to see you.
I understand your worry and would advice to visit the operating surgeon to have his opinion. Meanwhile beside Ibuprofen he must take drug pregablin for numbness and watch for any sign of increasing numbness or pain.
Hope this suffices.

Brief Answer:
He should take lyrica as it helps

Hi
He should take lyrica along with vitamin B12 (oral/inject able form).Has the weakness increased in the right arm after the surgery? For which the surgery was done. You may contact the treating doctor to have his opinion as he knows the power in the right arm before and after the surgery.
Hope this helps to overcome your worries. Please do not hesitate to ask any further query if you have it would be my pleasure to help you further.
