Question: I have a few lumps in my left armpit. It feels round, almost zit like with a vein like shape coming off of it. It is not sore or anything and there is no redness. They are both below the skim, though the zit like one can been seen above the skin as well.

1. About 3 weeks
2. A cough has started in the last 24 hours, no infection that I know of.
3. No trauma
4. Yes, diabetes and cancer run in the family. I do not have either.
5. Night sweats started within the last 24 hours.
6. No medication at this time.
7. I feel full regardless of what I eat. For instance I had a protein shake this AM and have felt just as full as if I ate a burger. Within last 24 hours I have had no appetite and haven't felt like eating since this AM. I'm also tired, really tired, even though I had a coffee with an extra shot of expresso and a bottle of green tea this AM. Normally this would give me a lot of energy, but I feel like I could sleep for the rest of the day and night.

Brief Answer:
Needs further evaluation to rule out chronic granulomatous disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. Your symptoms needs further evaluation to rule out chronic inflammatory diseases. There is strong possibility that the infection resulted in enlarged axillary lymph nodes. I would suggest you to once visit hospital & get an appointment for a "Consultant Surgeon". He will examine you and may order some labs including ultrasound of swelling, FNAC of the node, CBC with ESR & X-ray Chest. Further management would depend upon the results of the labs. Meanwhile GUAIFENESIN/DEXTROMETHORPHAN suspension thrice a day will help dealing with cough.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
