Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us.

Based on the history you have shared, it is difficult to summarise or specify one disease causing this and such symptoms can be due to variety of causes however to start with, it seems to be gastritis or stomach issues or can even be starting signs of any gut related systemic illness. He needs to have blood work done including Complete blood count, ESR, liver function tests and blood cultures. This will lead him somewhere in quest of a spossible diagnosis and will guide how to proceed. Also get his thyroid levels checked as such can happen with low thyroid levels. Meanwhile you can encourage him to take trimetabol or lysine minerals complexe syrups avaialable as OTC, before meals to increase apetite and motility agents like domperidone which will help with vomiting as well as increased appetite due to rapid stomach emptying. Hoping him a quick recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
