Brief Answer:
You have dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

What you mention is a phenomenon called dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB). Your symptoms are not consistent with gonorrhea and hence I do not think that you need to get tested for gonorrhea. However, if you still wish to know, let me know and I will suggest the tests to be done. You can get them done from your local laboratory.

DUB can very effectively be managed with low dose hormonal pills (which may otherwise serve as birth control pills). Anovular cycles are not painful and the excess bloodloss can also be minimized by the use of these pills.

Brief Answer:
Take the pills

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I would suggest you to take any birth control pill like Ovral L daily from the beginning of your next cycle. It is available without prescription. DUB is not curable but can be kept in control, and often it gradually subsides. Trapic MF or meftal spas are right to be given if the pain develops.
