Brief Answer:
Nothing serious

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,

Usually 80 bpm heart rate doesn't cause palpitations.
Sometimes it can cause palpitations if;

1.your usual heart rate is low 70 bpm, and it has increased up to 80 bpm recently
2. there is anxiety or you are overtired

You can continue metoprolol, if it doesn't help the dose can be increased. In case of anxiety you can discuss with your doctor to prescribe mild sedative medication

Hope I could help you

Wish you good health

Regards,
