Brief Answer:
Complete the course. Problem unrelated to rabies.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Thanks for your query at HCM.

I understand your concern and situation. As your dog is fine since1 month I see no reason to worry or panic. But you are definitely at fault since you did not complete your vaccination properly. You should have taken at 0 3, 7 14, 28 and 90. As there was no bleeding and breakage therefore possibility of rabies is almost nil. But there is no problem in completing the course. Symptoms of rabies are fever, violent movements, uncontrolled excitement, fear of water, an inability to move parts of the body, confusion, and loss of consciousness. You have no such symptoms so no need to worry. As for mild headache and lethargy it could be work pressure or tension headache or migraine or seasonal viral infection. NSAID drugs like aspirin or ibuprofen can be used to relieve symptoms. If symptoms persists or gets deteriorated then visit your physician. But your present problem is unrelated to rabies.

Take care.

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome back.

The incubation period ranges from a few days to several months, whereas the duration of illness until death – varies from 1 to 7 days. Rabies in dog is characterized by changes to its normal behaviour, biting without any provocation, eating abnormal items such as sticks, nails, faeces, etc., running for no apparent reason, a change in sound e.g. hoarse barking and growling or inability to make a sound, excessive salivation. If a dog is alive and healthy after 10 days the person can be assured that the animal is not infected with rabies. Vaccination technique elicits a prompt and highly protective immune response with a small dose immediately. So as you have taken post exposure prophylaxis so don't worry. But the vaccine is only safe for this instance if you get a bite in future you will again need vaccination. So just be careful.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
Few tests required for tonsils.

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks dear for your kind words.
Tonsils and sore throat is due to mostly viral or bacterial infection. You can get swab test done for gram staining microscopy and culture sensitivity test for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Take antibiotics based on test results. Meanwhile do saline gargle 6-8 times per day. Visit a physician or ENT SPECIALIST for proper evaluation. Sometimes surgical intervention may be needed.
Take care
