Question: Having pain in the back of head right side since yesterday morning with nausea... I am 36 yrs mother of two. Pls suggest a medicine. Flying to US tonight

Hello, Madam.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

Since you are taking an aerial route, it is important that you get a complete evaluation of your headache.

Since the association of vomiting is present, I advise you to go for a CT scan of the brain as a safety precautionary measure.Please note this investigation is only optional.

I generally recommend my patients with oral tablets of diclofenac and ondensetron for effective control of headache and vomiting on a symptomatic basis.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe them to you.
