Brief Answer:
Slight diet and lifestyle modification and shuffling the dose

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. With metabolic disorder like diabetes mellitus, these malaise and body aches are very common and almost inevitable and just needs symptomatic remedies with tylenol, rest etc .

However compliance of glucose control is necessary with 3 to 6 monthly HBA1c follow up. Levels of 160 to 210 are slightly high. Aiming for any thing below 150 and above 110 is good to prevent hypoglycemia on one extreme and hyperglycemia on the other.

Increase the dose of your medications but after you try diet and lifestyle modifications. Remember only sweets with glucose in it are forbidden. rest eat every thing but in less amount, reduce your caloric intake, eat 50 % of what a normal healthy person would eat. USe honey like medicine one teaspoon twice or thrice a day. Fruits before meal will help. Exercise and losing weight is last but not the least and foremost effective method to keep glucose levels checked.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and don't forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
