Suggest Remedy For Burning Sensation On The Penis Tip

default
Posted on Mon, 22 Jun 2015
Question: For over a week now I have had burning sensation when passing water at the tip of penis and about an inch into my penis.. It was initially itchy from the inside but this has now passed, but still burning, also the the entrance of urethra is at times stuck together. There has been no discharge at all. I have had tests for gonorrea and clamidya... Came back negative, also no urinary infections detected.. What could this possibly be? I have had prior to this protected sex, but unprotected oral, giving and receiving. What do you think this could be, I have not had any antibiotics yet waiting on some more results..

Brief Answer:
Symptoms mostly due to inflammation of Urethra(Urethritis)

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have inflammation of Urethra(Urethritis) mostly due to unprotected oral sex.

Oral cavity contains plenty of bacterial flora hence one is likely to acquire inflammation of urethra due to unprotected oral sex

Please get your Urine culture done to find out organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to,

In the mean while take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefixime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.Later on switch on to appropriate
antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
