Question: I had a recent fall and hit the bridge of my nose by my eye. I have been icing it and it is bruised. Now it has developed a blood blister so what steps should I take?

Brief Answer:
If you have lost consciousness, consult neurologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Can you please attach a photo of it?

If you have lost your consciousness or have headache, nausea, blurred vision, dizziness, you should consult neurologist and consider having head CT.
If your nose hurts and you find hard to breathe through it, you should consult laryngologist as it may be broken and bones reposition might be necessary.

Bruise and blood blister, if no bones injury, are nothing to be worried. If you are able to drain the blood from the blister, it will heal quicker.
It takes up to 3 weeks for the bruise to disappear. And there is not much you can do to accelerate the process.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
