Hi I am 25 year old my height is 5 ft 8 inch and weight is 76 kg .My question i have some fat in lower abdomen region and from last 2 and half month i have doing exercise in gym for 1 and half hour 6 days a week like 20 min treadmill ,leg rise ,ab crunches ,suryanamaskar, so on but my tummy haven't reduce yet but waist line decrease about 2 inch. My diet is 3 idli/uttapam with sambar and 2 glass tender coconut water/orange juicewith out sugar as breakfast. Lunch one bowel rice with mix sabji and salad and lemon water without any sugar. Evening some biscuits or orange juice. Dinner 2 chapati with mix sabji and skimmed milk one glass. Is belly fat reduction nearly impossible or what i cant even understand .so please suggest me some tips .

Whatever regimen you have mentioned is right but it is not going to show any results practically in such short time . You might be thinking that 2 months is enough but your body is not moulding that ways . Persistance is the key to a healthy body that you have to follow . Try having warm water throughout the day at least 8-10 glasses . Add chillies to your diet , capsacin increase your BMR significantly which will help you reduce stubborn fat. Take care. Dr. Shruti

Hi Ma'am i would like to know why bell fat is most stubborn area to lose fat? What should be my ideal weight according to my height ? Is fat burner supplement good to take along with exercise? What is BMR and capsacin how it helps to reduce fat? I might not thinking that 2 month time is enough my question why my body not responding to such workout i do almost 1 hour 45 min on daily basis besides Sunday. How long doses it take to lose belly fat any average time you would like to suggest Ma'am?

Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Sir, Thank you for reverting back. Belly fat and thighs are the worst areas to lose weight because the human body is designed to store fat in these areas. Your ideal body weight should be less then 70 KG . No I will not advise for any fat burning supplement. BMR - BASAL METABOLIC RATE is the rate at which we burn fat in layman term . Capsacin is a compound found in chillies which increase your metabolism and helps in reducing weight. At least 4-6 months of consistent exercise are necessary for permanent fat loss . Dr. Shruti

Hi I have read some where that taking honey with warm water in empty stomach at morning would reduce that fat is that true? how to enhance the stamina for which i can do more exercise i mean any special food or supplement would you like to suggest? I want to know the reason ma'am i have fat only in lower abdomen not entire belly and there is no other fat in my body besides lower abdomen why so? Why it is so difficult to lose fat in belly though i did heavy exercise any special reason i think there some problem in my thyroid hormones but i haven't got evaluate yet . would it nearly impossible to lose belly fat please give some genuine advice and suggestion i am very much disappointed because i haven't been noticed any kind of result yet despite of all my hard work i am talking here any big result but there should be some result which had exepected.

Brief Answer: Follows. Detailed Answer: Dear Sir, Yes you can take honey and water it is beneficial in reducing weight . You should take more proteins in your diet for building muscles like spinach etc. Distribution of fat in ones body is individualised so there is no reason for it .its just your body habitus. You should get your thyroid hormone levels done , Serum TSH specially . You should get a physical trainer for yourself because may be you will require a exercise regimen designed for yourself that will focus on belly exercises . Dr. Shruti
