Question: I started on one of those herbal detox diets, after 7 days I began experiencing mild abdominal pain. Like upper abdominal heart burn that won't go away. I stopped the diet and I'm wondering what to take to alleviate this pain ?

Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. I believe that detox diet had a role in your heartburn symptoms and abdominal pain. I would like you to consider some stronger antacids like nexium and try home remedies like peppermint, yogurt, frequent small meals, plenty of fluids intake, more fiber and fresh vegetables in diet and less to zero processed, canned, spicy, fatty foods. You may take any over the counter antispasmodic like buscopan etc for the abdominal pain.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
