Suggest Remedies For Severe Hair Loss

Question: From last 1-2 years I am facing hairloss problem. I am suffering hair loss from the top head center. Earlier I was using almod drops hair oil now i swich to coconut oil due to hairloss but no improvement. another conecn is chlorine content in the drinking water. kindly suggest the remedy to stop the hairloss problem and what are the resons for hairloss.

Thanks for posting a query,
The hair loss will not be seen in increased chlorine in drinking water. But seen in increased chlorine in water used for bathing.

The Hair loss has lots of causes more likely the stress, hormonal and nutritional deficiency.
You can use minoxidil 5% lotion.
Take TAB. BIOTIN for 3 months.

Dr, My Stess levels are normal and my parents still have hairs, they dont have any issues with the hairfall. What are the nutritional deficiency can cause hairloss? I have stopped taking non-veg from 2-3 years. Please suggest the diet chart for the problem. Non-veg I can start again if needed.

Healthy hair depends upon a healthy routine and balanced diet Even if you do not have enough time for elaborate routines, simple tips, as mentioned below, would help you feel good about your hair.
TIPS FOR HEALTHY HAIR:
     Drink plenty of water; include tender coconut water, fresh fruit juices (occasionally), fresh clear soups and buttermilk in daily diet.
     Green tea and mild black coffee provides antioxidants to promote hair health.
     Include fibrous foods in the daily diet to support digestion and maintain regular bowel movements which in turn would facilitate better nutrient absorption.
     Take good fats, like soaked almonds, pistachio and walnuts, peanut butter and liver oil capsules for Omega-3-fatty acids.
     Include iron rich foods like dark green leafy vegetables, dry apricots, whole wheat bread, dry Fruits like prunes and raisins, beans, lentil, chick peas, Rice Flakes with lemon, Pumpkin seeds and watermelon seeds, honey (use in controlled amounts), Green onion, beetroot and radish for better oxygen supply.
     Protein rich foods like beans, nuts, pulses and legumes, sprouts, milk and milk products like Low fat cheese, skimmed curd, tofu, paneer etc. in the diet to stimulate the hair follicles.
     Include hair friendly foods like papaya, avocado, red grapes, fennel, brown rice and broccoli.
      Massage the scalp twice a week and cover the hair and skin with cotton cloth while going out in sun.
     Avoid brushing wet hair. Use a good quality conditioner after the wash.

SAMPLE MENU:
Early Morning:
Lukewarm water with 1 Tbsp. Aloe Vera Gel - 1 Glass + 5 almonds and 1 walnut - presoaked
Breakfast:
Vegetable dhaliya/ Upma/Poha/Oats - 1 cup + paneer cubes - 5 no OR Boiled Egg white s- 2no
Skimmed Milk - 1 Glass
Mid-Morning:
Fruits
Lunch:
3 chapatti + sabji -1 katori + dal / paneer / non veg preparations– ¾ cup + salad 1 katori
(Non-veg intake should be limited to chicken, fish and egg whites. The method of preparation is also important and it is best to avoid the deep fried or otherwise oily and fatty preparations.)
Evening Snacks:
Green Tea (sugarless) – 1 Glass
Boiled black channa/ rajmah / dry peas/ sprouts with chopped onion, tomato, lemon, green chilies and salt – ½ cup
OR
Vegetable and omlette wheat bread sandwich – 1 no / Boiled corn – ½ cup / Paneer roll -1 / Boiled peanuts – ½ cup
Dinner:
2 chapatti + vegetable -1 katori + skimmed curd – 1katori + salad 1 - katori.
Choose from a variety of vegetables and fruits. Consume 2.5 to 3 liter water and other fluids like lemon juice, fresh soup and tender coconut water. Diet and exercise are important and they kind of complement each other.

ESVIT OR HEALTHVIT is good.
