Suggest Remedies For Prolonged Productive Cough
Question: I had severe cough with yellow color mucus since 10 -12 days it was really bad when it began,but now it is better but still at times thr mucus is yellow in color, i had got my blood test done in between and it was fine,plz suggest any test if required or any medication.its prolonged the cough and the mucus thats troubling nothingelse.

Yellow sputum and severe coughing indicates that you had bacterial infection that your body successfully fought off. Since your blood work is normal it indicates infection was not severe and dkesnkt warrant antibiotic treatment.
