Suggest Remedies For Pigmentation Marks On Lower Lips And Dark Circles

Question: Hello,
I am a female in my twenties. I have been facing the problem of hyper-pigmentation since about 5 years now. I had visited a dermatologist and was prescribed to use Melapik containing hrdroquonine, tretenoin and mometasome furate. However I got a nice complexion and got rid of all the pigmentation but as soon as I stop using the cream all the pigmentation is back. I at times use melapik to look good at social events, but didnt find any permanent solution to my skin problem yet. I am brown colored XXXXXXX girl and have pigmentation all over my upper and lower lip and have under eye dark circles.

I understand your concerns. Your doctor's choice of medicine is proper and unfortunately we do not have anything better and permanent at our disposal. There are laser therapies available and you need to ask your dermatologist about the same. But I do not think that medicines can offer you a permanent solution.
