Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your query. Though it is a short one, and I might need some more information, still it seems to be a chronic indigestion with stomach infection.
I would want you to answer the following-
Since when are you having such problem?
Do you have a regular food habit?
How is your bowel habits?

Kindly answer the above. It would be helpful for me.

In patients presenting with the above symptoms, I generally advise the following-

Diet modification- avoiding rich spicy food, taking lots of water, taking small frequent meals at regular intervals, taking lots of dietary fibers, avoid smoking and alcohol if any. Take your time, chew your food properly and swallow.
Exercise- brisk walking, cycling, swimming enhances metabolism.
Pantoprazole-levosulpiride for regular bowel habits.
Dicyclomine for stomach pain.
A course of antibiotics with ofloxacin-ornidazole will be helpful to tackle stomach infection.
Probiotics like lactobacillus.

You can consult the above with your treating or family doctor and get these prescribed.
Continue the above schedule for 1 month and follow up if possible.

Hope this was useful.
Consult me for any further queries.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thank you for writing back.

Bowel movements 3-4 times a day is more than normal.
It can be due to IBS or you can have such habits since long time. If it is not troublesome, nothing needs to be done about the bowel movements right now. If it is, a course of Normaxin-RT might be helpful.
Indigestion problem for such long period should be investigated further.
I would suggest an USG whole abdomen, an Upper GI Endoscopy and H.pylori assay.
You can follow as advised before and get back with the reports.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
