Ear infection should be treated with an antibiotic. Its because it is very close from the ear to the brain. Any infection in this area can cause brain infection.
That is why you have to visit your doctor. No doubt in that. Antibiotic should be given (Clindamicine for example). For the pain management Diclophenac should be good.
