Question: Hi doctor,
My daughter is having ear pain and she is also having cold.She is 3 years old.Could you please suggest us.

May be otitis media ir eustachian catarrh

Detailed Answer:
Hi....I understand your concern.

It might be a simple eustachian catarrh or a middle ear infection called otitis media.

As of now you can give either Paracetamol at the appropriate dose or Syrup Pedicloryl for relief.

She will require a pediatrician consult and otoscopy, to see the ear drum whether inflamed or not and then if necessary oral antibiotics.

Please do not use any ear drops without seeing the ear drum by otoscope by a physician.
