Question: I am being treated for sinusitis and bronchial spasms due to bad dry cough. I had an angioplasty performed 3 weeks ago. The cough seems to be getting worse, especially as the day goes on. Should I get an X-ray to rule out problem with stent?

Brief Answer:
X rays is not informative for the evaluation of the stent

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mrs,

If you have no chest pain, then stent problems are less probably.
It seems you have bronchitis.
But if you are concerned much, I would advise you to have an ECG done, it will show, if there is something wrong with your heart arteries and stent.

Wishing you good health
