Suggest Remedies For Blisters On The Fingers

default
Posted on Mon, 13 Feb 2017
Question: Can I send pictures to a email? Fingers sensitive to water or touch, swelling, blisters. It feels like they are burnt. Now it is on my elbows. Taking monocycle with 50 mg is the only medicine I am taking for back acne. Been taking it for a few weeks and have taken it in the past with no systems.

Brief Answer:
Either eczema or drug rash

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
According to me it is either eczema or drug rash.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime for 7-10 days.
Besides this apply a moisturising cream containing white soft paraffin frequently and liberally on the entire hands and arms.
This should resolve your symptoms.
If it doesn't improve in 10 days then possibility of drug rash due to minocycline should be considered.

Dr Asmeet
