Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management accordingly

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read yoru question and i understand your concern. Back pain at the age of 66 is likely due to age related articular degeneration or some compressive neuropathy. You need work up, MR scans of spine, physiotherapy exercises, pain killers and posture rehab. I would like you to talk to a neurologist and let them run some labs. Also bone absorption scans would be wise to rule out osteoporosis and also workup to rule out other causes as well. Calcium supplements, vitamin D supplements, pain killers, rest, good posture , physio exercises and range of mobility exercises will help.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

regards
Khan
