Question: I bit the inside of my bottom lip while eating about 4 days ago. It's slightly red around the area and a white/light yellowish film is covering the punctured part of my lip. It hurts to touch it and slightly bleeds when i tried to inspect it.

Brief Answer:
Aphthous ulcers, supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

Mouth biting followed by aphthous ulcers is a very common complaint. Good thing is these self resolve in a couple of days. You just drink adequate fluids, apply some oral gel for the pain like anesthetic gels or corticosteroid gels, use garlic water mouth rinses and maintain good oral hygiene. Be careful while using tooth brushes to prevent repeated injuries. avoiding eating sharp foods like toasts potato crisps. Take more fluids.

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
