Brief Answer:
Skin biopsy report gently requested...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

In such cases, I always recommend my patients to run examination of skin with KOH 10% under microscope in order to determine if it is a fungal infection. From what I see from the photo my opinion is toward fungal infection. However, skin scrapping examination under microscope will determine it. If you have done such test, can you please send to me?

You are saying that you did the biopsy of the skin, can you please send the report to me?
Can you please write in details the name of the meds you've been using so far/

If I was your caring doctor, would run this test first, then start treatment. If confirmed, antifungal medications like terbinafin or clotrimazole can be used locally. If still no improvement and if it is confirmed fungal infection, oral antifungal therapy should be started.

Let me know if you have the requested reports.
Thank you.
