Suggest Precautionary Measures When Allergic To Dogs

Question: hi
my kids have been pestering me forever to get a dog, however I am allergic to dogs(the dander I believe). I have tried being around
the most common "non-allergic" breeds and yes still allergic to them as well. Is there any treatment, medication, etc that can help in this matter?

In my opinion, you should take regular tablet containing combination of antihistamine and anti allergic drugs.
Combination of antihistamine (fexofenadine or levocetrizine) and anti allergic (montelukast) is easily available in market.
Take this drug in night before sleep.
This will mostly prevent allergy in you.
Since this is prescribed medicine, you need to consult doctor for this.
