Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

Have you done a urine routine? How many pus cells were there? I would suggest to get a urine culture and sensitivity. I would like to know who has prescribed metronidazole and azo? Was it for UTI?

For UTI based on culture and sensitivity report antibiotics can be taken. Right now no need to take those tablets. Clotrimazole vaginal tablet can be given for 3 days along with Clotrimazole cream for local application for vaginitis. T.Flucanazole single dose can be taken.

Recurrent vaginitis can be treated with local application of estrogen creams.

Hope I have answered your query. Feel free to ask any doubts. Good day.

I did have a urine culture. It was unremarkable. Can I get chlortrimazole cream over the counter or the estrogen cream ? I tried monistat and it burns. Could the amoxycillin have given me the vaginitis ? Thank you for your answer.

HI,

Clotrimazole is available over the counter in XXXXXXX First try clotrimazole cream. If it doesnot subside estrogren cream can be tried.
Amoxycillin is unlikely to cause vaginitis.. Age related vaginitis can be the cause..

hope i have answered your query. good day.
