Brief answer....keep taking paracetamol every 6 hourly and wait for another 48 hours
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Your description of the events suggest that you may be having viral fever.
Once viral infection takes place ,temperature generally doesn't come to normal even after taking the paracetamol tablet till the fury of virus persists ,that is around 72 hours.
You can also do tepid sponging to bring down the fever.
In case fever doesn't become normal in 72 hours, you would need to get your blood and urine tested for typhoid, malaria, dengue or any other blood infection or even urine infection.
In my opinion, just wait and watch for next 48 hours.
I hope it helps however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
