Brief Answer:
Avomine, ondansetron

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.

There are many options.

Avomine is usually given for motion sickness. Take one tablet before travelling.

If that does not help then stronger medicine is ondanetron. It can also be taken same way. Effect lasts for around 8 hours.

Hope it helps.

Thanks Doc. Can you please suggest on following as well ?

Avomine:
How much earlier than travel should this be taken
How much is maximum dose
Time interval between next dose

Ondanetron:
How much earlier than travel should this be taken
How much is the maximum dose
Time interval between next dose

If Avomine is not working, can we take ondanetron right after it ?

Brief Answer:
Dose as given

Detailed Answer:
Regarding avomine tablet:

For Prevention of motion sickness
(a)     Long journeys: one tablet each night at bedtime commencing on the night before travelling.
(b)     Short journeys: one tablet to be taken 1 - 2 hours before the journey commences.
Maximum 25 mg twice a day.

For Treatment (if vomiting already happened
One tablet, followed by a second tablet the same evening and a third tablet on the following evening. Prompt treatment is important.
Additional tablets may safely be taken for prophylaxis or when they appear to be needed but it will seldom be necessary to give more than four tablets in 24 hours or to repeat a dose in less than 8 hours.

Ondansetron
Dose is 8 mg once or twice a day. Should take atleast 15 min before travelling.
Maximum dose is 30 mg.

If avomine is not working then ondansetron can be taken righaway.
