Brief Answer:
Norethisterone pill should be taken to induce period.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) If recent pregnancy test result is NEGATIVE, then I can suggest progesterone pill like Norethisterone etc for 5 days to induce period. Otherwise, she needs to repeat the test before taking such pills.

It is prescription medications which can be started under guidance of local doctor or gynecologist. She will get period within 5-7 days after cessation of medicines.

2) Do light exercise for physical fitness and reduce or control body weight. Avoid mental stress (common cause of late period) completely by regular meditation or yoga. Maintain an overall healthy life style. These will help to regularize cycle.

Hope, it helps for your information. Wish your good health and take care.
