I take 10 mg Januvia a day and 16 units Novalog before dinner which I missed today and 26 units of Lantus before bed. Is there anything I can do to get my blood sugar down or should I just take my Lantus and not worry about it?

Brief Answer:
About high blood glucose:

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
The blood sugar is high due to prednisone therapy and the missed dose of rapid insulin.
Except of lantus, you should do an extra dose of Novolog ( 16 UI) and check the blood sugar after 2 hours.
While you are in corticosteroids therapy, your doctor should adjust the doses of insulin because the inquiry is higher.
Hope i have been helpful.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
