1. I think only spine is affected as I feel pain only in back and neck.

2. Morning stiffness only goes after a dose of Indocap 25mg. But stiffness doesn't vanishes completely and I cannot bend completely with the help of back.

3. Yes I feel pain while changing positions. I sleep on my stomach.

4. No painful red eyes.

5. No problem with stools.

6. I take one cap of Indocap 25mg in morning, one in afternoon. At night I take one cap of Indocap SR.

Management of ankylosing spondylitis

Detailed Answer:
Good evening

Well, your disease does look mildly active. With the symptoms of early morning stiffness, night pains and raised CRP and considering the dose of indocap you are taking( 125 mg)

1. I would suggest you switch to Tablet Nucoxia 90 mg...Which is once a day medicine and is longer acting...

2. Include aerobic exercises in your daily routine...Swimming/Brisk walk along with some yoga. That is more beneficial than painkillers

3. If it still doesnt improve on tapering the pain killers, we can try with SUlphasalazine. It is known to work in spine affected due to ankylosing spondylitis. But for that, you will need a rheumatologist presciption.

I hope the information was useful

DO let me know for more queries
