Posted on Fri, 21 Nov 2014
Question: Dear doctor, I am suffering recently from migrains and I went with an Ophthalmologist and later with an Neurologist. The Ophthamologist recommended me to use glases, however I have 100% eye-sight. I was not taking him so serious but totday a colleague recommended me to use glasses for the computer and now I was wondering "which glasses" should I use? i simply go to a optometrist and buy the glasses i like without any dioptrien? thank you for your comments!

Brief Answer:
You can use anti-glare glasses.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having migraines. This requires treatment for migraine as advised by your doctor.
Coming to the eye problem if you are using computer or laptop daily for more 3-4 hours you can use anti-glare coated zero power glasses. This will prevent glare and reduce dryness of eyes induced by excessive viewing of computer monitor or laptop screen.
If you are a occasional user of computer or laptop and if you are not having any refractive error as you have mentioned in your history there is no need for glasses.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Wishing you good health
