Question: I have been taking 10mg 4 times a day for 12 days. Can I just stop, I am changing doctors 10 mg of diazepam 4 times a day for 12 days. do you also write presciptions if a taper is nessasary

Welcome to HCM.

You are taking 10mg of diazepam 4 times a day for 12 days.

It would not be a good idea to stop it at once. I would recommend you to taper it down slowly (under your doctor's supervision). Stopping abruptly can cause withdrawal symptoms.
Reducing by 10mg every three days should be tolerable.
