Brief Answer:
It is individual.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

It depends on the cause of arrhythmia.
Sometimes in young age less cardioselective b blockers work better. So there must be individual approach.
If you don't have side effects from your propranolol (inderal) I would advise you to continue with inderal.

Wish you good health.

Regards,

Thank you and allow one final question. Would I be right in thinking that in beta blocker use for pvcs general rule of thumb would be small dosage works better as a higher dose can actually create an environment which fires of more pvcs. My own experience is this is the case as when my dosage has been moved up the pvcs increase.

Brief Answer:
Need monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

For the treatment of PVCs we usually perform a holter monitoring before starting, and after some time we repeat holter for evaluating efficiency. We usually do dose adjustment based on holter data. So, if you have less PVCs with small doses there is no need for increasing the dose.
