Suggest A Good Non SPF Moisturizer For A Combination Skin

default
Posted on Sat, 11 Jun 2016
Question: I am currently using Neutrogena Deep clean facial cleanser which is really good and It neatly cleanses the skin and let the Ph which is required for the skin let it stay and gives and neat skiny damp skin and sometimes when I go out in sun I use Ranbaxy SPF 50 moisturizer in the days time for my facial skin.. However, I am looking for a decent non spf moisturizer which can be used for night time and day time (when not in sun) and can be used on regular basis... My skin in typically sometimes oily and sometimes dry.

The moisturizer should be used anyways irrespective of time, Should make my skin well moisturized, should not make skin oily, should not trigger acne, may be it can take away XXXXXXX and increases fairness by one shade. Besides this, suggest me a medication to reduce my open pores on my skin and I think because of those pores dust is getting inside and eventually I am having acne

Brief Answer:
Venussia cream as a moisturiser

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
You can use venussia cream as a regular moisturiser for your skin.
For open pores I recommend my patients to apply tretinoin 0.05 percent cream on the affected areas at bedtime. This is usually continued for 10-12 weeks to see any significant improvement.

Few quick questions on your response.

I read reviews on this moisturizer and it pretty much seems to work for dry skin and it tends to make the skin oily and my skin is typically combination and sometimes oily, so I dont have any problem applying it in night and can I also apply it in morning while going to office and will it wont make my skin oily?

Can this moisturizer makes skin fair by taking one shade away? and how about parabens in this moisturizer? is it good to use it for long time? as I gonna use this one on regular basis whenever I require.

You have suggested a treatment for open pores as a ointment and when can I use this ointment and can I simultaneously use it along with moisturizer? and will that cause sking tanning as I would be going out in sun though I would wear sunscreen?

Brief Answer:
Venussia will be fine, can also try acnemoist cream for oily skin.

Detailed Answer:
I have experience of patients with combination skin using venussia cream as a regular moisturiser and they don't seem to have problem with it.
But it wont make your skin fairer. It contains parabens as preservatives which can be used for a long time time if you are not allergic to them.
You can also go for acnemoist cream as a regular moisturiser if your skin is oily.
As far as cream for open pores is concerned use it at night on the pores followed by application of moisturiser on the entire face after 10 minutes.
Tretinoin cream won't cause tanning of skin but do use a sunscreen during the day time.

Btw, I am currently using Ranbaxy SPF 50 moisturizer and please also suggest best SPF moisturizer available in Drug stores

Brief Answer:
No moisturiser to remove XXXXXXX or make skin fairer

Detailed Answer:
There is no moisturiser which will make your skin fairer or remove XXXXXXX
You can use suncros soft gel or lashield gel as an SPF sunscreen during the day time.
Both are equally good.
