Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query.

Migraine is a vascular form of headache known to be caused by dilatation of the blood vessels resulting in release of chemicals from nerve fibers.

The factors you have written (sun exposure; weather changes; alcohol) can all cause headache. In addition there are other causes of migraine like stress, loss of sleep or disturbances in sleep, fasting.

It is a condition which can be prevented with proper medications.

Now all that being said, I need to ask you few questions:-

-What exactly do you want to know about migraine?
-Do you have just headache or any associated symptoms like vomiting, nausea, cold hands or feet?
-Do you get any signs or symptoms (aura) before the headache starts like flashing lights, blind spots?
-Does any one in your family have history of migraine?
-Have you got your blood pressure checked when you have the migraine headache?
-How long does the headache last (since you are not on any medicines)?
-Do you need to take medications for pain relief or the symptoms subside on their own?
-Approximately how many episodes of migraine headaches do you get in a month?

Please write back answers to these queries to help you better.

Awaiting your reply.

Take care and Regards
