Dear XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
Treatment of back pain depends on the severity and cause . If your back pain is mild and has been present for a short duration, it is likely to be due to a muscle spasm. This can be taken care of by maintaining the correct posture, analgesic gels like Diclofenac gel applied locally 2-3 times a day and hot fomentation. If it has been long standing and it travels to your legs or there is a pins or needles sensation in your legs, you need to see a orthopedic surgeon and get a MRI of the Lumbosacral spine.
Hope that helps
