Hi ,
Thanks for writing in.
The condition you are suffering from can be alopecia areata, tinea barbae etc.
Alopecia barbae is an autoimmune condition and not infection.
It can be treated by oral and topical steroids.

Also I would like to know-
Since when you have this?
Is there any pain/itching?
Is there loss of hair in patches?
Is there any scaling/exfoliation of skin?

You can upload the photos of the affected area?
Or you can email them to YYYY@YYYY
Write "ATTENTION DR SUDARSHAN" as subject in your mail.
I will be able to see them.

Answer the questions and send the photos we can continue the discussion here.
