Stopped Breastfeeding. Missing Period After Delivery. Any Advice?

default
Posted on Mon, 11 Mar 2013
Question: I delivered a healthy baby boy 5 months back. I breastfed him until 4 months after his birth. Since last 1 month, he is on formula and solids. My menses havent started yet;also there are also no signs of them starting soon. I am very sure about not being pregnant again. In such a case, is it concerning that periods haven't started?
Please advise.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.

If you are breast feeding your child properly , you will get your periods after 6 months.
Good that you are feeding your child properly.
You need not worry.

Hope this helps,
