Question: what is the side effect of having 6 promethazine 25mg tablet at once??

The promethazine is a classical antihistaminic with sedative properties.
6tablet at once taken is called drug overdose and it can cause CNS depression, dryness of mouth, blurring of vision, retention of urine, constipation, glaucoma, tachycardia, headache, hypotension, tinnitus.
Keep a watch especially for the drowsiness, if patient is falling too much sleepy and floppy then urgent medical treatment is must.
The effect go away by the end of two days.

Ativian more than 12 mg is overdose.
It can cause
* drowsiness
* mental confusion
* lethargy
* weakness
* unsteady walk
* depressed breathing
