Should Susten Be Stopped During 35th Week Of Pregnancy?

Question: Hi my wife is 35 weeks pregnant now doctor has said to stop susten 300mg.Is. It safe to stop now?

Susten is given for placental support till 14-20 weeks. After 20 weeks it helps in preventing preterm labor pains. After 35 weeks it is stopped so that normal pains can start after 37 weeks to help with the normal delivery. There is no harm in stopping it now.

Before she got miscarriage when she was at 8th week at that time and was under ivf treatment.
